The WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits course is ideal for anyone interested in spirits. You may be just starting to learn about spirits or have been around them for a while.
The course will cover the raw materials of the most common alcoholic beverages and their processing, distillation and maturation. The course will cover brandy, vodka, whisky, rum, tequila, flavoured wines and liqueurs. You will also learn how to taste, describe and evaluate different spirits.
The language of the course material and the exam is English.
Those who pass the course exam will receive a diploma.

WSET Level 1 Online
The WSET wine qualification can also be taken as an online course. Language for the course in English. An online course may also be a suitable option for those who live further away from Helsinki or Tampere, or if their work allows them to taste a lot of wines.
WSET Level 1 and 2 courses can be done at home, including the multiple choice exam with remote invigilation.
